Some news outlets have begun reporting that the Wind Waker HD release date is 31st December 2013.
Here at WindWakerHD.com we are convinced that this is misinformation; the origin of which comes from the Wind Waker HD pre-order page that is available on Amazon.com
There is no definite release date currently set for the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD set by Nintendo. Instead Amazon has simply specified December 31st 2013 as the latest possible date.
The Actual Wind Waker HD Release Date?
Nintendo themselves have said that the game should be released for “Fall 2013” during the Nintendo Direct Conference in January.
If you choose to pre-order Wind Waker HD then we anticipate that the game should be released several months before the date that is set by Amazon. Personally, we expect November at the very latest.
